Red loam is a generic Kalgoorlie soil. Almost anything will grow in red loam, as long as the correct amount of water is administered.

Bergie’s Soils recommends red loam for native gardens, lawn top dressing and general garden beds.

Red loam has an approximate pH of 6.5 and is sold by the tonne.
